Mortenson, a renowned company with a rich history, sought to innovate their headquarters’ lobby space. They aspired to a design that would both commemorate their historical accomplishments and anticipate future endeavors. RSP Architects were already immersed in conceptualizing the space for Mortenson, identifying this as a golden opportunity within the architectural project to infuse more value. Doug Forbes of HIARKI DESIGN Co. (HDC) partnered with RSP Architects to craft an interactive timeline, a solution that vividly narrates Mortenson’s journey and its forward-thinking approach to the future, allowing every visitor to delve into and value the company’s evolutionary path. The Beginning

Mortenson recognized the potential in their newly developed lobby space to mirror and exhibit their enterprise's milestones and innovations. RSP Architects, already engaged in shaping the space for Mortenson, saw this as an integral opportunity within the architectural project to elevate the design’s impact. In this foundational phase, HDC immersed itself in the essence of Mortenson’s vision, history, and aspirations. The team engaged in extensive dialogues and strategic alignment sessions to comprehend and encapsulate what Mortenson aimed to communicate.
